GARE DE MAPUTO - CFM

On the Workers' Square, the Maputo train station stands proudly in its moldings. Its well-preserved colonial architecture with a green and white facade is much visited. From here, some trains of the Mozambican railway company CFM serve Goba, Limpopo or Ressano Garcia at the South African border. However, the train is not really recommended, as it is slow and unreliable. Nevertheless, the station is a must for the CFM museum. The chapa station serving the region (Santa Maria and Ponta do Ouro) is right next door.
