Hotel with the appearance of a vacation village, with access to the beach, with well soundproofed rooms, swimming pool and restaurant
Lots of space, a very large swimming pool and direct access to the beach for this hotel with the feel of a vacation village. Rooms are basic but well soundproofed. The price includes breakfast, wifi, parking and a visit to the two permanent exhibitions on Cape Verde: the first on the volcano, the second on the archipelago's coastal areas. The establishment also boasts an air-conditioned restaurant, OdjaBrava, with a superb view of Brava Island, and a menu focusing on seafood.

We verbleven hier van 22 tot 28 juli 2022. Een grote domper was dat het zwembad in reparatie was en we daar dus geen gebruik van konden maken. Ook schenen ze niet echt haast te maken met de reparatie daarvan (ondanks het vertrek van vele toeristen daardoor). Verder is het een prima locatie. Kamers zijn schoon en prima in orde. Dichtbij de stad São Felipe en ver genoeg om er geen last van te hebben. Taxi is zeer goedkoop. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten prima in orde. Al met al hebben wij het van alle locaties waar wij in Cabo Verde verbleven, hier het meest naar ons zin gehad. Aandachtspunt is wel dat je Portugees of Kaapverdiaans moet kunnen spreken. In een andere taal is het lastig om met al het personeel te kunnen communiceren.

La vue depuis la piscine sur l’ile de Brava est superbe et si vous donnez la peine de descendre les 133 marches vous profiterez d’une plage quasi déserte. Les chambres sont confortables, et le service proposé par Augusto et Antonella est agréable.

During our stage on Fogo Island we stayed at the beginning and end of stay in Casas Do Sol in Sao Felipe. We enjoyed the kindness and advice of Augusto and Antonella that were very available. They allowed us to make our short stay rich in discoveries. The hotel is a little eccentric compared to the center of Sao Felipe but you can easily go there by taxi for 200 CVE. Transfers from/to the airport organized by the institution are possible. At breakfast, don't hesitate to taste the many local jams and Fogo Cafe: It's a regal. The apartments are equipped with a kitchenette, you can enjoy the terrace and it is also possible to dine in the restaurant that recently opened above the establishment. There is a black sand beach at the foot of the hotel, magnificent framework for ballads, to swim cautiously follow the advice of the premises You will always have the possibility to go to the swimming pool which is very appreciable after a hot kick.
