The door is always open, and we like to stop in for a moment before heading up the famous rua da Banana. The aim of this cultural center is to promote the work of local artisans, most of whom are women. You'll find a wide range of products - jewelry, soaps, jams and more - to take home while doing a good deed. Special mention should be made of Dedexa's original agricultural ponches, made with honey or mancara (peanuts), and Maria Evora's fabric dolls.
