Just outside of town is the newly built Hotel Vulcão, the only 4-star hotel in Cidade Velha, well known to the locals who frequent it at weekends. Built on the water's edge, you'll enjoy a swimming pool and direct access to another natural saltwater pool, safe and ideal for snorkelling. For the more courageous, the hotel also has a gym. The chef, who specialises in Creole cuisine, creates some very appetising dishes, which are served at the Saturday lunchtime music buffet, where it is not uncommon to come across a number of personalities.

We are reputed to be the best 4-star hotel on the island of Santiago. In addition to the magic of our sea view, the comfort of your room and the warmth of our staff, probably the most fantastic thing is the gastronomic experience in our exquisite restaurant, reputed to be the best a la carte and buffet on the island.
As we are in a rural area, we have an environmental policy to preserve our natural area, guaranteed by an air conditioning system and water production based on renewable energy sources, as well as the use of faucets and reducing showers; In addition, we are supplied with what nature gives us, and 80% of the vegetables consumed in our restaurant come from our green area with drip irrigation.

Nous avions 2 chambres et la Climatisation ne fonctionnaient pas pour les 2! L’air était irrespirable.
Le personnel nous a fait changé de chambre au bout de 2 heure d attente .
Matelas très dur,
Serviette qui non pas l’air propre.
Coussin sales.
Robinet salle de bain hors-service : ne détectent pas les mains. Donc obligé de se laver les mains et brosser les dents dans la douche.
Je suis trop dégoûtée vraiment envie de vomir manque de respect total
Grosse flaque d’eau suite humidité . L’eau coule goutte à goutte dans la chambre directement sur un lit… du jamais vu!
