OFFICE DE TOURISME DE VER-SUR-MER
Ver-sur-Mer is the America Gold Beach Museum, of course, but not only. The tourist office will convince you by offering you tours to discover Ver, a village whose history did not begin in June 1944, as shown by the church of Saint-Martin dating from the end of the 11th century. You can discover, on foot or by horse-drawn carriage, the Manoir des Mésanges and the Vieux Manoir, each dating from the 17th century, then around a rock, the very pretty lighthouse of Ver-sur-Mer, built to warn ships of the dangerous setting of the rocks of Calvados. Unfortunately, it is not open to visitors. You will not miss the Romanesque church from the end of the 11th century, nor the marshes which present a natural ensemble of great ecological and landscape interest. Along the way, you will surely meet the legend of Saint-Gerbold...
