HAMMERWERK MOSDORFER (HAMMER FACTORY MOSDORFER)

An unusual and original site. The factory was founded in 1712 and still retains the memory of its steelmaking origins. Today, the tradition has given way to a modern company, well versed in modern tools. Computers and digital technology are now part of the work. But the museum bears witness to the days of iron workers, blacksmiths and hard work. Located in the north of the city, this museum traces four centuries of the work of the Weiz blacksmiths.
