This Gothic château was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1752.
An architectural gem and a regional institution. The original Gothic château, surrounded by water, was destroyed by fire in 1724. It was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1752. In 1900, it was enlarged with the addition of a church. At the same time, the castle was converted into a monastery, adjacent to a reputable private school for English girls. Today, it houses a secondary school.
