Climb this tower and admire the panoramic views over the city and its surroundings.

In the 13th century, the inhabitants of Wels decided to build a fortified wall around the town with four towers to ensure its defence. Only the Ledererturm remains from this period, named after the tanners' quarter where it was located. You can climb the Ledererturm by booking a tour through the tourist office. Of course, from the top you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and its surroundings.
