MONASTERY OF THE MINIMES (MINORITENKLOSTER)

This church, with its predominantly Gothic architecture, is believed to be one of the oldest in Upper Austria. It was built on the site of a church already mentioned in 888. The church and convent were founded at the end of the 13th^century . In 2000, during renovation work, magnificent frescoes were discovered in the choir and cloister. This well-appreciated site boasts a magnificent square, and hosts concerts, events and fairs.
