HIGH SQUARE (HOHER MARKT)

You have to walk through the narrow streets of the romantic and baroque old town of Krems and reach this charming square. To the east of Pfarrkirche, the Hoher Markt is home to a Hercules fountain dated 1682. It is on this square that the oldest building in the city is located, the splendid Judge Gozzo's Burg from the end of the 13th century. One cannot fail to fall under the spell of this square where one really feels as if one is going back in time.
