Vienna's MuseumsQuartier invites us to discover a wide variety of works, installations and performances by both well-known and little-known contemporary artists. These are presented in several independent spaces: the Leopold Museum, MUMOK and the ZOOM Kindermuseum (ZOOM Children's Museum). There's also the Architekturzentrum Wien (Vienna Architecture Center), the Dschungel Wien (Theater House), also for children, and various experimental spaces, including the Kunsthalle Wien for the most daring young contemporary artists. Rudolf and Elisabeth Leopold, the Leopold Museum has since become
in Vienna's MuseumsQuartier. Home to the most extensive collection
of Egon Schiele's works, it offers a unique insight into the creation of the great
painter and leading exponent of Austrian Expressionism.
He is another precursor of modern Austrian painting, represented alongside
