This is THE traditional Viennese café. Somewhat overlooked by tourists, the Bräunerhof is famous for the Bräunerhoftrios concerts held here on Saturdays, Sunday afternoons and public holidays (starting around 3pm). These concerts do not take place in summer, reflecting the fact that it is not a tourist attraction. The atmosphere at the Bräunerhof is intimate, the slightly faded walls, the mosaic decor and the waiters in three-piece suits have something deeply Viennese and a reassuring immutability.
