This Viennese company, founded in 1885, continues to strive for excellence. In the 1970s, at a time when most manufacturers were relocating their production, Reiter remained in Vienna. Today, the fourth Reiter generation runs the company, which continues the tradition of welt-stitched shoes in classic Viennese style. Gentlemen will find Budapest, brogues and ankle boots, while ladies will find sans-gênes and ballerinas. Accessories are also available. The building, built in 1803 on the Mölkerbastei, is well worth a visit.
