Ideal for tasting the charm of Viennese cuisine in a charming setting. At Plachutta, the traditional art of meat preparation, praised by Emperor Franz Joseph, lives on. It's here that you'll enjoy one of Vienna's best Tafelspitz(Austrian stew), a specialty of the house. The terrace is very pleasant, and the Schnitzel is just as recommendable as the Tafelspitz! The company has two other addresses in Vienna and three other restaurants, including the Italian grill Mario and the wirtshaus Grünspan.

À ne pas rater si vous passez par Vienne. C'est assurément the place to be. D'ailleurs pour achever de s'en convaincre, il suffit de regarder sur les murs (de l'escalier qui conduit aux toilettes :) ) la galerie de portraits de ceux qui nous y ont précédé ! Mais la magie est dans l'assiette : les spécialités, en particulier le tafelspitz sont un régal. Les proportions sont gargantuesques. Service sympa et irréprochable.

Meilleur tafelspitz de Vienne (en fait c'est une chaîne de restaurant avec un en ville et un à côté de Schonbrunn) mais c'est très cher quand même !

Yes, the tafelspitz is absolutely try; a delicious stew, beginning its stock very perfumed beef, a magnificent marrowbone and a cheerful bit of stuff meat.
The whole is very copious (one stinginess not on the side).
Very professional service; it is often crowded with large tables patrons viennese, even if there are many tourists of all nationalities.
