Family farm where you can visit the barn and discover the animals, access to common facilities such as the kitchenette

For the record, the original owners of this former farmhouse were a farmer and a renowned midwife who delivered many babies within these walls! Eydis and Magnus have taken over the running of the family farm, where they offer you a tour of their barn, where everyone is welcome to pet the animals and help with the chores (by prior arrangement). Access to shared facilities such as a kitchenette and bathroom. You also have the possibility to buy local meat at low prices.

We had such a nice stay. Solvanes Farm is a place were you can learn about the Icelandic farm animals, and Icelandic people. We highly recommend.
