FOLK MUSIC CENTER

Housed in the house of Reverend Bjarni Thorsteinsson, who lived there between 1888 and 1898, this center is dedicated to the discovery of Icelandic folk music. It features videos of Icelanders singing epic poems, five-songs and nursery rhymes, or playing traditional instruments. You can even try your hand at Icelandic fiddling! Concerts are organized here, and you can consult the program on their website.
