This was my best stop on this Iceland trip. A simply beautiful hotel in a beautiful city in a beautiful fjord.

Schönstes Hotel im Norden Islands. Zimmer sehr groß, super gemütlich und sauber. Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl. Lage einfach unglaublich im süßesten Ort Islands. Wir konnten die verschneiten Berge aus unserem Zimmer genießen. Ein Highlight ist die breite Fensterbank im Zimmer, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Hot Pot und Sauna draußen waren richtig angenehm, sehr heißes Wasser und wunderschöner Ausblick. Unser Aufenthalt hier war definitiv der schönste unserer Island Reise und wir können das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen ????

Номер большой современный, но под старину. Потрясающий вид из окна на кораблики и горы. Замечательная сауна (халаты и тапочки в номере).

Pięknie położony nad oceanem hotel z zewnętrznym basenem i sauną. Bardzo wygodne i duże pokoje. Smaczne śniadania. Restauracja serwuje dobre dania. Jest też bar z dobrym piwem i innymi trunkami.

Gute Zimmer sowie sehr gemütliche Betten. Sehr schöner SPA Bereich. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Amazing place. Cozy room and very clean.
Friendly service. Comfortable beds. Nice view from the window.
Breakfast was just ok.
Outside is a swimming pool with hot water and a sauna which greatly diversifies the stay.
Beautiful surroundings.
I will certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and I would love to come back here.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff were equally fantastic. My room was the largest I have ever stayed in. Windows overlooking the water and the hot pool. Meals were delicious. And the views to die for.

This was the best Hotel on our Iceland trip. We stayed in total 4 Hotels during our ring road trip and this hotel really made us feel that our money was well spent.

We didn't stay at the hotel as I struggled with their website which is a shame as they were not fully booked when we were in town. I am assuming that their rooms are a lovely as their reception and lounge.
We were there for coffee and delicious tea.
Sitting in the bay window looking at the harbour...just perfect.
Even if you haven't booked a room here do pop in for coffee or drinks and enjoy the loveliness

Very nice hotel from the outside and inside. Room was very clean, spacious, nicely furnished. Staff all very friendly, free spa. Breakfast was okay, menu in the evening very special and not suitable for everyone.

En la localidad más inaccesible por tierra a Islandia debido al túnel de un único sentido que da acceso al fiordo en el que se ubica (construido en los años 40 del siglo XX) se encuentra este agradable hotel. Encantador en su decoración, con un bar excepcional, salones con chimeneas alrededor de las cuales puedes reunirte,... Dan ganas de quedarse más.

Rigtigt flot hotel. Hyggelige værelser med plads til kufferterne. Restauranten var rigtig god. Vi fik 5 retters menu med vin til. Det kan anbefales. Det var ca 1000 dkr pr person. Der var meget kort ventetid mellem retterne. To af vores børn fik med på restauranten ved siden af, da de mere var til pizza. Den ejes iøvrigt af samme ejer. Vi nåede desværre ikke i hottub men det så skønt ud. Løb en tir i området og kom forbi en lille skov med vandfald. Den manglende stjerne er for morgenmadsbuffeten. Den manglede udvalg til allergikere (laktose og gluten) og deres varme retter var kun lunkne. Vi glemte vores lader på hotellet og de tilbød at sende den til vores hotel, sidst på vores tur på Island. Så alt i alt et sted, vi gerne besøger igen.

An elegant beautiful hotel with very warm hospitality. We have a wonderful stay here. The dinner at Sunna Restaurant which with a beautiful harbor view, tasty food, and wonderful services was also a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Beste hotel (van 7) tijdens ons verblijf in IJsland;
Hele fijne kamer, alles zeer schoon en lekker bed en beddegoed. Het ontbijt was ook in orde en er was een heerlijke hottub buiten. Het avondeten in het restaurant was goed maar behoorlijk aan de prijs, zeker voor de sneltreinvaart waarin het werd geserveerd.
Maar alles bij elkaar zeker aanrader.

Incredible hotel, rooms excellent, beautifully furnished, very fanc and clean.
Hotel has a great location in the harbour.
+++points for the hot pool outside (40 celsius water).

The reception and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We booked an overnight stay with breakfast and were very positively surprised.
The rooms are spacious and generously furnished, everything is available and we liked the style very much as well as a great view and quiet location.
The breakfast has everything possible and was very good. I can only recommend this hotel!
