Nice house with a spacious kitchen overlooking the harbor, enjoying an excellent price/quality ratio
Located on the main street, this pretty house offers excellent value for money. Decorated with revisited antiques, the spacious kitchen overlooks the harbor and is perfect for preparing meals. There are several types of room, with or without en suite facilities. The establishment no longer offers dormitories, but the single room is very affordable for solo travelers. It's also possible to rent charming cottages for greater privacy.

Für uns eine der tollsten Herberge auf unserer 17 tägigen Islandrundreise! Etwas abseits der 1 lohnt sich der aussichtsreiche Umweg über die 82 & 76 auf jeden Fall. Dalvik ist eine tolle Station für die Übernachtung. Das Gimli-Hostel hat uns total begeistert. Hier fühlt man sich sofort wohl, die Zimmer sind sehr individuell und von der Größe her absolut ok (da wir die ersten an dem Tag waren, konnten wir in alle Zimmer schauen).
Ein schöner und großer Gemeinschaftsraum mit ausreichend ausgestatteter Küche ist das Herzstück. Von hier kann man sogar auf den Fjörd schauen. Toiletten / Bäder sind ausreichend vorhanden.
