A museum with the largest private collection of stuffed birds in Iceland with over 180 species from around the world
Located on the Ytri-Neslönd farm, this museum has the largest private collection of stuffed birds in Iceland with over 180 species from all over the world. You can also see all but two species of Icelandic nesting birds, as well as many eggs. Opened in 2008, it can be enjoyed by amateurs or children. There is a small café with a beautiful view of the lake and telescopes available to enjoy.
