Small address with a family atmosphere in a wild and beautiful setting, housing several simple and warm cottages

This address on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn offers several simple but warm cottages for 2 to 7 people, all with wi-fi, private bathroom and individual stoop. Despite the small size of the rooms, the fully-equipped communal kitchen is a real plus during your stay. The setting is wild and beautiful, with the aurora often dancing on the lake from September onwards. Local produce is also on sale, and can be eaten for breakfast or taken away. The staff are equally attentive.

Sauberes Bad, bequemes Bett, man sieht Nordlichter. Was will man mehr.

Nur die Nachbarn sind etwas sehr laut und man hört sie sehr deutlich. Ansonsten vllt etwas teuer, aber es ist Island. Da passt das schon. Alles in Allem ein guter Aufenthalt.

Very good location close to the nature baths and sites. The room itself was cozy and clean. There were also some cute dogs on the property. Only recommendation is for better pillows.

A beautiful property alongside Lake Myvatn. There are cottages and there are smaller rooms as well. The restaurant is located in the reception block where. It is glass walled and you can see the still waters of Lake Myvatn, a truly stunning scenery. The night we stayed in September, the mist set in throughout the night and it was unfortunate we couldn't see the Northern Lights, or else it is a place where are there are no street lights and chances of catching the aurora are pretty good when the nights are reasonably long. Breakfast is standard as in most properties. There are some tours that are available, pamphlets of which you can check it out in the common room next to the kitchen.
