Large campsite with everything you need. Works in winter. Paid online. The kitchen is not very clean, there are not enough dishes.

Finals d'octubre 2023. Haviem llegit ressenyes no massa bones però per aquestes dates no teniem pràcticament cap alternativa millor i vam decidir fer nit aquí. Ens va sorprendre positivament. Cuina gran amb fogons, microones, torradora... Sala comuna amb varies taules i cadires on hi estaves ben calentonet!! No ens vam dutxar perque veníem de la piscina pública del poble anterior, per tant no puc valorar les dutxes. 1 WC. El millor de tot va ser veure l'aurora boreal des del càmping, únic dia que la vam veure dels 10 que hi vam estar!!!

During winter: Showers don’t work (it’s a cold drip) and the camping is just a parking lot.
Kitchen is fine, but I wouldn’t recommend using the pans as they’re so old that the non-stick is peeling off.

Way too expensive. They were the only campground open and they take advantage of that with price. 60$ for a small campervan !! Showers were cold. Trying to pay was a hassle. Looked like a nice kitchen but did not use it.

Sehr hügeliger Platz. Gut ausgestattete Küche inkl. Aufenthaltsraum vorhanden. Bezahlung online via Paypal möglich. Leider musste ich kalt duschen, da das Warmwasser nicht für mehrere hintereinander duschende Gäste ausreichend ist. Gute Lage zur Besichtigung aller Attraktionen in Myvatn. Wir haben Nordlichter vom Campingplatz aus gesehen.

2500 K pro Person und 500 K für den Camper ist für diesen hügeligen Platz einfach zu teuer! Leider hatte der nächste Platz Ende September schon geschlossen.

Es muy caro el cámping esta muy saturado de gente para las pequeñas instalaciónes que tiene encima había una cocina rota. Son 2.250 isk persona más 500 por la camper en total 5.000 lo bueno que tiene duchas gratis y el aseo esta bien aunque esta mañana no había ni papel en el servicio supongo que de la cantidad de gente que había se agotó.

I like this campsite and it's cozy common areas. Could use more seating inside for meals, and the showers are terrible in terms of water temperature and pressure, but would recommend to others.

Leuke camping met gratis wifi en stopcontacten. Goede uitgeruste keuken ,warme eetplek om rustig te zitten. Propere wc en douches. Ook de gelegenheid om pizza te bestellen (persoonlijk: duur). Betalen kan via een QR-code (2000ISK per persoon voor een campervan).

Für fünf Sterne hätte die Küche sauberer sein müssen. Und die Klos und Duschen-naja. Aber der Platz hat im Prinzip alles was man braucht. Für uns war der Aufenthaltsraum ausschlaggebend gegenüber den anderen Campingplätzen am Myvatn. Bei 2 Grad und Regen und Zelt.
Dafür sind 3000 kr pro Person und Nacht aber auch nicht wenig.
Das Restaurant haben wir uns gespart. Ist uns zu teuer.

Prezzo superiore alla media dei campeggi islandesi, per non avere nulla in più, se non uno sconto del 15% sull'adiacente pizzeria (non usufruito in quanto non di mio gradimento) e comunque sconto che paghi ampiamente con il costo del campeggio stesso.
Comodo il pagamento online attraverso QR code all'arrivo.
Considerando che in 5 minuti di auto ci sono altri 2 campeggi, di cui uno sicuramente più economico e con più servizi - usato il giorno dopo di questa fregatura -, per me assolutamente bocciato.

Schöne Campingwiese. Durch das hügelige, stehen die Camper und Zelte nicht so dicht wie auf anderen Campingplätzen nebeneinander. Das fanden wir sehr toll. Außerdem für Isländische Campingplätze relativ viele Duschen. Das kam uns schon fast wie Luxus vor :)

Campeggio in riva al myvatn, quindi grande pecca che accomuna tutto il luogo é l'abbondante presenza di moscerini che ti ronzano intorno alla testa cercando di entrarti in bocca, occhi e orecchie. Ovviamente questo condiziona negativamente tutto il soggiorno e le visite, ma armati di grandissima pazienza e delle retine per testa INDISPENSABILI che il gestore ti fornisce a 600 isk l'una, la loro presenza si ridimensiona notevolmente. Non é colpa del campeggio quindi non é una pecca, però ovvio che diventa scomodo. Campeggio molto bello esteticamente, con terreno molto ondulato e irregolare che rende difficile trovare lo spot ideale per la tenda. Nel complesso tanto spazio comunque per inserirla. 2 tende con 4 persone, 8500 isk, il capo arriva a riscuotere la mattina in maniera molto flessibile anche se vuoi prolungare il pernottamento. La struttura ha un ristobar che fa pizza e birra alla spina in linea coi prezzi esorbitanti di tutta l'Islanda (orario 10-22). Inoltre c'è una zona comune con cucina e tavoli, con 2 angoli cottura a 4 fornelli, discretamente fornita al livello di stoviglie e con asciugamani puliti che ognuno poteva prendere per usarlo e poi metterlo in una cesta di panni sporchi. C'erano 6 tavoli con prese elettriche ogni tavolo e all'interno della cucina c'erano bagni divisi. Non é mai successo di restare in piedi e la gente era molto silenziosa. Inoltre c'era un'altra struttura con bagni e 2 docce per tutti e 2 i generi. Posizione perfetta per iniziare l'hiking verso Hvertafell

This is an OK campsite for me. It had all the facilities but also a ton of flies. Not that flies are something the proprietors can do anything about. They’re a plague all around the Myvatn area but if I’d have known I’d have moved on out of Myvatn and stopped somewhere else.

The best camping around Myvatn. Stayed elsewhere before and really like this one. Kitchen with dish ware, indoor dining room, hot water and showers included. Stayed here 4nights to explore surroundings..4th night was for free ????

It was our 6th day in Iceland so by that time we figured that campsites can be bad. So we decided to check them out before checking in. Vogar did not impress us. The bathroom facilities were old and looked untidy so we opted out. There were no staff in the office so I don't know their prices.

Wir haben uns einen anderen Campingplatz gesucht, einmal wegen des Preises (2250 ISK pro Person, 1500 für ein Womo) und auch, weil der Eindruck nicht der beste war.

Habitación doble con baño. Habitación cómoda y funcional. Pequeña mesa, hervidor d agua y mini nevera.

War mit Zelt und Velo hier. 2750 ISK für eine Nacht?... WCs hats ein paar, einzeln zerstreut bei Hintertüren. Sauber. Dusche ok. Macht aber alles einen etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck.

És un càmping amb els serveis suficients per fer-hi una parada. Té piques a fora per rentar els plats i un complex climatitzat amb els lavabos i dutxes individuals (incloses en el preu). Tot i així, només n'hi ha 3 i segons el moment, es formen cues.
També hi ha un menjador per la gent que va amb tenda i furgoneta.

There is a kitchen, common room where you can charge your electronic devices, toilets and showers. Hot water, toilet paper and paper towels. It is quite ok, but would require some renovation.

We find this camping site to be very good, albeit a bit crammed. Being able to check in and pay online is really great. We arrived quite late so everything was free. There were two showers each in the building that also hosts the kitchen, as well as two showers in the building right next to it. Both very clean and tidy.

Coin cuisine, grande salle à manger, douche chaude et wc propres.
L'odeur de soufre est très présente mais c'est normal de ce côté là de l'Islande.
Très bon rapport qualité prix.
