This campsite is ideally located on the Reykjahlíð walking route, and especially on the shores of Lake Mývatn. If you can't find anyone when you arrive because of the lack of information, settle into a seat and check in the next morning. The campsite has all the necessary services, including a shower area and a functional kitchen. Access to the small village is fast by walking and the surroundings of the lake are fantastic.
