Ganz grausames Hotel. Bitte wirklich nur übernachten wenn es absolut nötig ist.
Die Dame am Empfang total unfreundlich und wollte uns erstmal einen Preis andrehen der 4000 Kronen teurer war.
Das Zimmer ist katastrophal. Man hört alles was im Nachbarzimmer passiert. Waschbecken, Toilette und Dusche sind nicht richtig sauber. Auf dem Bett waren noch Haare.
Der Föhn und der TV waren kaputt.
Aus der Dusche kam fast überhaupt kein Wasser. Bei diesem (selbst für Island) sehr hohen Preis nie wieder.

Un albergue cerca de la laguna de Jokulsarlon.
Todo lo más discretas cabañitas con equipamiento más q básico y parte del mismo sin mantenimiento correcto: faltaba manilla en la puerta de la habitación, enchufes insuficientes, faltaba la TV aunque no la usábamos y algunas cosillas más.

Great to stay here again. Staff as always so friendly and helpful. Location is superb with Jokulsarlon just 10 minutes down the road. Rooms in the main house are comfortable and the breakfast is good.

I had booked through booking, but I could not stay because of poor weather conditions in the area. I showed the property owner the warning issued by Iceland weather department and they immediately refunded my booking amount. They were very understanding and open about the conditions there. Honest people.

I liked several things about this hotel:
> Netflix is available on the TV !
> Very Hot Water is available from the sinks and showers; just give it time to warm up.
> Robust WiFi signal in my room.
> Decent sized dinner - I had the lamb, potatoes, diced veggies and red cabbage.

The staff was great and accommodating. The location was wonderful. The rooms were sparse. I had to use the blanket as an additional pillow. The tv had one channel working. The tour guide graciously gave up her room for me. Thank goodness we are only here 1 night. I bet this is what a hostel would look like. I would not stay here again.

Nice cosy cottages in a beautiful location. Very convenient location for diamond beach and the iceberg lagoons. The restaurant was nice and warm. The breakfast spread was good. The view itself is worth the price. Recommended ????

Unklare Buchungssituation, die bei der Anreise für Irritationen sorgte. Zimmer um 17 Uhr noch nicht bezugsfertig. Für WC Durchgang durch einzelne Zimmer erforderlich. Interessant, dass es so etwas in Hostels heute noch gibt…

Tiene un emplazamiento muy bonito. La habitación para 4 es correcta. Pero nuestro baño tenía moho en la ducha, mucho. Por lo demás desayuno correcto y sitio tranquilo.

Albergo molto carino con camere anche nelle casette vicine alla struttura principale. Molto bello il paesaggio intorno. Camere grandi e pulite. Buona la colazione e la cena.

Wir waren im Restaurant zum Abendessen und durften sensationellen Arctic Char mit Kartoffeln und Gemüse sowie ausgesprochen freundlichen Service genießen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

The people who work here are incredible. Something went wrong with our booking, but they were very responsive in figuring it out and reassuring the 3 of us traveling that we would have a place to stay. I would stay here again and it's very accessible to the other activities in the south of Iceland.

Looking at comments I feel like I stayed in a very different place. I had reservation last minute (when was planning the trip all rooms were sold out). Staff very friendly, even arriving just before kitchen closing was not a problem to have warm dinner. Food delicious.
Room nice and cosy, but be honest, I’m here to stay over night, not to have 2 weeks holidays in one place.
Breakfast - continental - was above my expectations. Different meats, cheeses, porridge with variety of add-ons. Fruits and vegetables of your choice.
Prices? I’d say icelandic. Nothing higher, nothing lower.

Nette Zimmer, alles notwendige vorhanden. Sehr ruhige Lage. Zimmer können nicht gut abgedunkelt werden! Sehr nette Gastgeber. Frühstück Buffet vollkommen ausreichend.

We ate dinner and had an outstanding meal. Our waitress Sophia was charming and made everything perfect. I had the chicken which was exceptionally cooked. My son got the lamb and was very happy. The rhubarb dessert was yummy..

Leider wurde das Zimmer unseren Vorstellungen nicht gerecht. Speziell nicht für diesen Preis. Es ist spartanisch eingerichtet. Keine Kühlmöglichkeit und das Wlan ist super langsam, da haben wir andere Erwartungen an ein 3 * Hotel. Zudem war das Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Wir hatten das Zimmer neben der Eingangstüre und zum Parkplatz. Lärm war also immer. Sogar wenn jemand im Gang lief, hörte man dies. Zudem ist jegliche Einkaufsmöglichkeit 45 Minuten entfernt. Dies wird mit horrenden Preisen bei Lebensmitteln ausgenutzt.
Das Einzige was positiv war, ist das es sehr nahe beim Jökulsárlón liegt.

Pretty property but issues with some of the facilities. One of the showers hardly worked(barely a trickle of water) and the back door would not close. Luckily we’re in the middle of nowhere and that wasn’t a concern

While staying in the area we had dinner at the Guesthouse Gerði. Absolutely amazing quality of the food. With lovely staff. Very helpful. Every dish was very tasty. Highly recommend.

Personnel neutre pas vraiment accueillant.
Le logement était décevant. Il s’agit d’un bungalow mal chauffé, mal isolé, étroit et sombre, entouré d’autres bungalows pareils. Vous avez une petite tv avec deux chaînes Islandaises et une bible sur la table de chevet. A refaire je serais parti ailleurs mais bon, on avait roulé et étions fatigués.
Vue sur d’autres bungalows et stocks de planches. Peut mieux faire... Le seul mauvais souvenir de mon voyage en Islande ???? c’est déjà ça et il y a pire.
