The pretty little church is located at the top of a grass bump which, in the summer, covers a vast field of blue lupins. With its immaculate whitewash and pink candy arrow, the church clearly detaches itself on a background of dark mountains dominated by the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Nice view of Vik. A hiking trail to reach the heights of the city is part of the church.

Once at Vik, it is for me the place where you should go up to admire the region in height. Beautiful glimpse of cliffs.

Située pas loin de l'auberge de jeunesse, sur les hauteurs de Vik, l'église offre un joli panorama de la ville. L'eglise en elle meme est typiquement Islandaise avec sa blancheur qui contraste avec le ciel.

Très belle église typique de l'Islande et surtout avec une vue très belle sur la Mer, la ville de Vik, les falaises vues de côté, et le fameux glacier.
Cela vaut le petit crochet en voiture depuis la route 1.
