PILGRIMAGE OF OUR LADY OF WEILER
Go there and contact
As early as 803, a chapel dedicated to the Holy Cross and the Virgin Mary would have existed in this place. What is certain is that at the beginning of the 13th century, the Benedictines of Wissembourg built a chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame de l'Écoute which attracted many pilgrims. In the chapel you will find a wooden pietà surrounded by the Tree of Life, made of ceramic. In 1989, the sculptor Keller of Molsheim highlighted the sandstone body of Christ mutilated and buried during the French Revolution and found it near the chapel in 1952.
