The museum or the tourist office giving information about the earthquake, on the hill overlooking the city

On May 29, 2008, an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck the town, transforming the already unsettled appearance of Hveragerði. Located in the hall of the local BONUS, this exhibition tries to convey what people experienced, thanks in particular to a simulator! The earthquake also triggered the appearance of a new hot spring on the hill overlooking the town, a sight not to be missed.

Un conseil ne payer pas pour le simulateur du tremblement de terre. Nous l'avons fait, et il n'y a rien d'exceptionnel. Pour faire simple vous êtes enfermés dans une sorte de petite maison, le sol bouge et vous avez une lumière qui clignote et c'est très rapide.
En revanche la petite exposition est intéressante.
