One of the largest churches in the country, built in 1893 in Vogar

Built in 1893, it was at the time the largest rural church in the country. Its two floors could accommodate more than 150 people! Today, it is still one of the largest churches in the country. Right next door, you can enjoy a 9-hole golf course. About 3 km away is Staðarborg, an old stone enclosure, preserved since 1951 and 8 m wide. Good to know: it is also a popular spot for watching the Northern Lights. Beware, as always, nothing is guaranteed!
