Artwork designed by Yoko Ono that lights up from October 9 to December 8 in Videy

This work of art, designed by Yoko Ono and located on the charming island of Viðey, is illuminated from October 9 (John Lennon's birth date) to December 8 (the date of his assassination), from December 21 (winter solstice) to January1 (New Year) and from March 20 to 27 (first week of spring). On the face of the monument, the phrase Imagine Peace is translated into 24 languages. You can see it up close by coming to the island by boat during the day or from the Reykjavík promenade at night, if you are lucky enough to come on the right dates.
