This work of art, designed by Yoko Ono on the charming island of Viðey, is illuminated from October 9 (date of birth of John Lennon) to December 8 (date of his assassination), December 21 (winter solstice) to January 1 (New Year) and March 20 to 27 (first week of spring). To get there during the day, you can take the ferry to Viðey and walk a little. On the facing of the monument, the phrase Imagine Peace is translated into 24 languages. Don't hesitate to take some time to walk around the island, which is still little impacted by mass tourism.
