SPECIAL TOURS was founded in 1996 as a shearwater observation operator for tourists as well as scientific excursions for school children. The company has since then expanded its activities by also offering whale watching and fishing.

The owners are two young men, both captains and engineers, Magnus and Hjörtur. They have been involved in fishing and sailing for a number of years, despite their young age, and enjoy nothing more than being on the sea with our guests.

Special Visits

Special Tours was founded in 1996 as an organizer of sea excursions for puffin watching and school trips. We are very proud to be the first company in our market to offer these unique excursions from Reykjavik and to have been able to expand our offer to all the other sea adventures we offer today.

Special Tours Wildlife Adventures is known to passengers and partners for its ambitious and hard-working team, aiming to offer great adventures for every tour and every client. Our staff excels at managing whale watching, puffin watching, sea fishing and aurora borealis tours.

Special Tours emphasizes comfort and personalized service, while ensuring that we protect and respect the environment. We have a qualified and friendly crew, as well as an experienced guide for each excursion.
