Near Santa Maria Assunta, this famous restaurant frequented by Hemingway inspired the atmosphere of his work Beyond the River and Under the Trees. It is a chic and rustic locanda, opened in 1935. It offers excellent fine Venetian cuisine and a superb resort. There are 5 deluxe accommodations (from single room to senior suite). Away from the tourists, the establishment is often chosen by movie stars at the end of summer, during the La Mostra festival. For the calm and the beauty of the landscape, no doubt?

Una collocazione tipica veneziana, curata nei particolari ma senza eccessi, e fuori dal turismo di massa. Grazie allo splendido giardino, al personale cordiale e disponibile ed alla cucina molto curata si vive una piccola magia.

Am 20.09. war ich mit einer Gruppe zum Essen in der „Locanda Cipriani“. Zunächst einmal das Positive: Wie nicht anders zu erwarten ist die Atmosphäre dort sehr, sehr schön. Auch die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen selbst war sehr, sehr gut, wie auch der „Bellini“ als Aperitiv. Was ich weniger gut fand, war die Präsentation der Speisen (insbesondere bei DIESEM Lokal), da bin ich Besseres gewohnt. Wie gesagt, der „Bellini“ war hervorragend, aber dafür mehr oder weniger bessere IKEA-Gläser zu verwenden, finde ich einfach schlecht. Ich denke, man sieht meine Kritikpunkte auch ein wenig an den Fotos.

Todo perfecto en este Hotel, el servicio del personal excelente, muy flexible y amable, hacen de este hotel un ambiente familiar, la calidad de la cena y del desayuno, productos muy bien escogidos y de buena calidad. Puedo recomendar este Hotel 100%. La historia del Hotel es también maravillosa, llena de tradiciones. Las habitaciones muy cómodas.
Fue un fin de semana maravilloso.
