ANDY WARHOL MUSEUM (REOPENING IN 2025)

Andy Warhol has never visited Slovakia, but it was his brother John who made the trip to their parents' land in 1987 to help create this museum. The concrete building, decorated with images of colourful celebrities, stands out in the rather grey city of Medzilaborce. Inside, 17 original impressions of Andy Warhol, are also exhibited private objects that belonged to the artist, many family photos showing their links with the Ruthenian community.
