REGIONAL MUSEUM (KRAJSKÉ MÚZEUM PREŠOV)

This museum is housed in the Rákóczi Palace and is worth a visit if only for the beauty of this Renaissance building built at the end of the 16th century. Its stucco ornamented facade is splendid. The interior is made up of several exhibitions retracing the history of the city from prehistoric times to the 19th century. Other exhibitions are devoted to the old Slovak motto (the crown), watchmaking, antique furniture and historical weapons.
