WATER TOWER (VODÁRENSKÁ VEŽA)

This twenty-nine meter high water tower stands, as everywhere else, on the highest area of Prešov. Now open to the public, it was built in the first half of the 20th century as part of the city's water supply project. To reach its summit, you have to climb its 135 steps and you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the city and in good weather you can even see the High Tatras.
