ST. MARTIN'S CATHEDRAL (KATEDRÁLA SV MARTINA)

This is the most important monument in the city, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church was built on three neves and brings together Romanesque and late Gothic elements. Built in a first phase, between 1245 and 1275, the two towers of the western façade, the north gate and the columns are the most significant architectural elements. The choir, built during the fifteenth century, is a perfect example of Gothic architecture.
