VIRGIN ASCENSION CHURCH (KOSTOL PANNY MÁRIE)

Situated on the central square, this Gothic church of the 86 th century seems to be stretched towards the sky with its-metre high bell. The bell was added in 1893. Its southern portal is a marvel of architecture. The most valuable of the Church's assets is inside: Pavol de Levoča carved in the wood in 1520 a sumptuous cross road. It is possible to climb up the clocher to have a nice perspective on the surroundings.
