ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN (ZOOLOGICKÁ ZÁHRADA)

In the beautiful forest park on the outskirts of the picturesque spa town of Bojnice, there is a 20-hectare zoological park. Opened in 1954, it is the oldest zoo in Slovakia. It houses a unique collection of animals from all over the world, more than 360 species with a total of over 2,700 specimens. The bird collection is particularly rich and among the rarest animals is an anaconda, the largest snake in the world.
