TRINITY CATHEDRAL (KATEDRÁLA TROJICE)

To the north of the central square was erected in the 15th century the cathedral on the ruins of the old castle of the city. The paintings, works by Josef Bozetech Klemens, are worth a look, especially those above the altar. The Burian Tower, adjoining the church, was probably part of the old castle. In 1942-1943, large marble stairs leading to Hlinka Square were built around these two buildings.
