MUSEUM OF LITERATURE (LITERÁRNE MÚZEUM)

In a historic neoclassical building dating from the second half of the 19th century, there is the Museum of Literature. It contains a collection of old Slovak books and objects related to national literature. This museum is the heir to the Maticá Slovenka and, every year, many schools come to visit it on school trips. It is the reference centre for Slovak literature and temporary exhibitions regularly highlight contemporary authors.
