VILLAGE SK MUSEUM (MÚZEUM SLOVENSKEJ DEDINY)

This museum presents more than 150 traditional houses. Collected since the 1960s, the houses date mainly from the 19th century and reveal examples of rustic and folk architecture from the Orava, Turiec, Kysuce, Podjavorníky and Liptov regions. Authentic wooden churches and other churches krčma have been remarkably well preserved. It is in the village of Turiec that you will find an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Roma (see above).
