MUSEUM OF MINING (BANSKE MUZEUM V PRIRODE)

This museum presents on the surface different types of miners' houses. The itinerary introduces visitors to 17th and 19th century mining, its ancient tools and equipment. The main attraction of the museum is the visit of an authentic abandoned mine (the Bartholomée gallery). Indeed, equipped with a helmet and a lamp, you can descend on two levels to the bottom of this mine, which has been in operation since the mid-seventeenth century, a fascinating experience.
