MISSIONARY MUSEUM (MISIJNÉ MÚZEUM)

North of the city centre, the museum is housed in the monastery building, which is now occupied by the Verbi Dei monastic order. It presents an interesting exhibition of objects brought back from all over the world by the missionaries of the bishopric of Nitra. It exhibits objects of daily use, weapons, religious objects and works of art. The museum also offers an exhibition of animals from all over the world and a beautiful butterfly exhibition.
