HOUSE ŠTÚR AND DUBČEK (DOM ŠTÚRA Y DUBČEKA)

Ľudovít Štúr and Alexander Dubček, two of the most important figures in Slovak history, were born not only in the same village, Uhrovec, but also in the same house. Ľudovít Štúr, the reformer of the Slovak language, and Alexander Dubček, the main political actor of the Prague Spring in 1968. Exhibitions from the Trenčin museum are presented in this place and pay tribute to the lives of these two illustrious characters.
