HOUSE OF THE EXECUTIONER (KATOV DOM)

In an old narrow street under the castle of Trenčín stands a legendary building, the executioner's house. It was in the damp, dark basement of this house that the condemned were crammed before their execution. It is now managed by the Trenčín museum and houses two exhibitions. The first is devoted to justice and torture in the cities of the time, the second presents art, history and handicrafts.
