MUSEUM OF BOOKS (MÚZEUM KNIŽNEJ KULTÚRY)

This Renaissance building, built in the 16th century by the Archbishop of Esztergom Mikuláš Oláh as a theological seminary, now houses an exhibition of the Museum of Western Slovakia in Trnava, devoted to book culture and also to the life and work of the eminent sculptor William Schiffer. This museum presents a rich collection of more than 50,000 old books inherited from the Jesuits and their seminary Oláh (named after the archbishop).
