Castle with a beautiful gothic crypt on a rocky promontory overlooking the port of Ischia
Perched on its rocky promontory, Ischia Castle of Ischia crossed the ages. Simple observation site during antiquity, it will be fortified in the Middle Ages. It is King Alphonse of Aragon who, in the middle of the fifteenth century, after having driven the Angevins from Naples, decides on the construction of a much more imposing ensemble, whose mass still dominates the port of Ischia. See in particular the prison and the beautiful Gothic crypt with a few traces of Renaissance frescoes. Also enjoy the impressive panorama.

Château perché sur un ilot face à Ischia. très belle visite qui permet d'avoir une vue à360° sur Ischia et la baie. Jardins de plantes méditerranéennes.

Véritable coup de cœur pour ce château médiéval ! Entre les catacombes décorés , les remparts et le remarquable jardin intro muros , le château Aragonais est une visite magique !

A ne pas manquer si vous séjournez sur l'île. Parcours de visite bien numéroté et bien expliqué dans un dépliant en français. Au sommet, magnifique vue sur la baie, et possiblité de boire un verre.
