The name of the teacher sums up the idea quite nicely. This is a simple, but still economical, cuisine on an island where prices, like Capri, tend to spiral. Despite its tourist situation, the reception is very warm.

Ottimo pranzo di pesce. Ristorante con una veranda molto carina sul porticciolo di Ischia, quindi location molto bella. Staff molto accogliente e servizio rapido. Piatti tutti eccellenti e quantità giuste. Frittura fatta a regola d'arte, frutti di mare davvero saporiti. Prezzi giusti per la qualità e la freschezza del pesce, ottimi con lo sconto di the fork. In 3 abbiamo preso 1 primo a testa e 2 secondi da dividere, da bere acqua. Abbiamo speso €26 a testa. Senza sconto avremmo speso €35, comunque un prezzo corretto.
Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante!
P.S. L'unico prezzo esagerato mi sembra quello dell'acqua, €4 a bottiglia forse un po' troppo...

Made us paid for drinks way too much because we were on a haste to catch our boat and did not want to eat. We double checked afterwards and indeed drink on their menu were cheaper than they made us paid. Maybe they lied about the “free food” just to boost the fees I do not know.
Never paid that much for a beer even in NYC/Paris or Amsterdam. I guess we had a nice “tourist head” so be careful if you go ????
