Modesttrattoria , a little dark inside. Take advantage of the good weather, if you can, by sitting at the few tables in the shady alley. The choice of dishes is limited at lunchtime, but the quality is guaranteed. The locals come here for lunch during the week on their break and everyone knows Gigi, the owner. Very good Neapolitan lasagna, generous portions and authentic taste. A discreet address that will please visitors who are tired of the touristy restaurants that have sprung up in the historic centre.

Abbiamo mangiato divinamente, sia gli antipasti che i primi, l’ambiente è familiare, molto semplice, con il titolare che ascoltava i video del cellulare seduto di fianco a noi al massimo volume. Prezzi molto onesti.

Mi pareja y yo disfrutamos de una cena excepcional en Trattoria Chantecler, una hiddem gem de Sorrento que combina a la perfección la hospitalidad y la buena cocina. Atención amable y profesional. La calidad y sabor de la comida justifica cada euro gastado, con buenos precios. Pedimos una salchicha, una ensalada caprese y un tiramisú, todo riquísimo. Para nuestra sorpresa, incluso nos obsequiaron con un chupito de limoncello. ¡Muy recomendable!

A nice place for dinners. We ordered seafood dishes, and they are very good. However, my daughter is not a fan of the gnocchi , so i give 4* instead of 5*. Services are also great.

Recommend this place by locals. If you are trying to avoid touristy places, this small restaurant is a must. This place is so much better than what it looks like. Food is literally amazing. Sorrento has lots of touristy restaurants in the center and everything looked just ok, nothing special. But this small hidden restaurant is DELICIOUS and affordable. Their eggplant parmigiana is the best. We truly enjoyed!!!!!!
