A beautiful hotel with a museum dedicated to Antonio Vian in Naples.
A beautiful hotel managed with passion by Mrs. Dora Viscione, which is also a real museum dedicated to Antonio Vian, the composer who died, his father. It is here that this great gentleman of Neapolitan song lived and composed his most beautiful music. Luna Rossa is the name of one of his greatest hits (sung by Jacques Hélian in French). You will find objects that once belonged to Mr. Vian, but above all the atmosphere in which he lived to find his inspiration. The 15 rooms are furnished with care and equipped with every comfort.

The Luna Rossa is very run down. My room had various problems including a missing shower door leading to dangerous puddles on the tiled floor, a loose showerhead, ceiling lights that could not be completely turned off, noisy neighbour's TV noise at 6am and a very noisy air-conditioner. It is hard to imagine a more poorly maintained hotel exists in Naples.

Pessimo hotel, non tornerei più....di un livello molto inferiore rispetto al prezzo ,coperte sporche,doccia che ad entrarci dovevi fare uno slalom,poco pulito,hotel rimasto agli anni 60 .... Sono stato in questo hotel di passaggio , struttura posizionata al centro dietro la statua di Garibaldi con tutti i confort ,camere pulite e spaziose, personale della reception simpaticcisimi e molto bravi .. consiglio questo hotel !!! Grande Giorgio oooo 100 100 100

Unfortunately the photos on Booking.com etc, are from 1 or 2 rooms that they renovated. The room we stayed was terrible!! It felt like no-one has checked, or cleaned or maintained it for the past 10years. The shower was full of mold, the shower door was broken with one of the side doors missing. It was dusty and felt dirty. As mentioned by other reviews, there is no fridge. Avoid at all costs.
