Former municipal palace offering a visit to discover the historical side of Brescia.
It's a nice visit to discover the historical side of Brescia, with this ancient municipal palace dating back to the 13th century. A rather austere balcony reminds us that from here edicts and court decisions were issued to the people. To its right there is the 12th century Torre del Popolo (People's Tower). Two beautiful porticoed courtyards are part of the building that now houses the municipal administration. In the large south courtyard, the old wooden staircase has been reconstructed, which in the Middle Ages allowed access to the large hall of the "Maggior Consiglio" on the first floor.

ne peut pas être visité
au début, je pensais que c'était l'ancienne cathédrale et que c'était le broletto. L'extérieur est intéressant mais à l'intérieur il y a les bureaux administratifs de la municipalité, donc difficiles à visiter
